One of the most popular trekking destinations in Morocco is the Atlas Mountains, which offer breathtaking scenery and challenging routes for experienced trekkers. The Toubkal National Park is located in the High Atlas Mountains and is home to Jebel Toubkal, the highest mountain in North Africa. The trek to the summit of Jebel Toubkal is a challenging but rewarding experience and can take between and four days depending on the route and pace.

The Draa Valley is another popular destination for trekking, located in the south of Morocco. This region is known for its palm groves, stunning gorges, and traditional Berber villages. The trek through the Draa Valley can take up to five days and is a great way to experience the local culture and hospitality of the Berber people.

If you’re interested in desert trekking, the Sahara Desert is a must-see destination with its vast sand dunes and unique landscape. There are several trekking routes available, ranging from one-day hikes to multi-day treks. The trekking routes often include visits to traditional desert villages and camel rides, providing a unique cultural experience.

When planning a trek in Morocco, it’s essential to be prepared and bring appropriate gear and clothing, especially if you’re planning on trekking in the mountains or desert.
