ITINERARYYou will be picked up at 09:00am from your hotel/Riad in a private 4WD or minivan and drive towards the High Atlas Mountains via Tahnaouet (local market on Tuesdays), Valley Ghighaya, Moulay Brahim gorges, Asni (market on Saturdays) then between terraced fields of vegetables, fruit trees (walnuts & cherries). You can visit Asni weekly market and venture further to Imlil set in the upper level foothills of the Western High Atlas Mountains. Once you arrive to Imlil, you will experience an unique mule ride OR walk with a guide, that will take around 45 minutes towards the Berber village of Aroumd (Aremd) at (1903m) passing the small village of Tagadirte, Targa-Imoula, where get a prime view of the other peaks surrounding Imlil villages, Jbels Aguelzim, Aksouâl and the Adrar Adj . The villages is seemingly built like house upon house on a large hillside overlooking ancient irrigated terraced fields of barley, corn, fruit trees & Toubkal peak. A delicious lunch which will be served in a Berber house in the village, facing the highest peak in North Africa Toubkal 4167m, you will have for discovering the traditional Berber house indoors, Enjoy some free time to explore the village and take photos. After lunch we will descend on the other side of the valley with a view on the waterfall, passing Achiem village and back to Imlil. On the way back after Asni take another road to Kik Plateau at 1600 meters high and offers spectacular 360 degrees views and, in the spring, a marvellous spread of alpine flowers. Scattered Berber hamlets greet the view, at the end of Kik the way down to Lala Takercouste dam, a stop next the dam before heading to Marrakech.
